OCZ Colossus Series SATA II 3.5″ SSD hard drive is an SSD with a capacity of up to 1 TB, which means it is almost same with SATA hard disk that currently has a capacity of 1.5 TB. OCZ Colossus Series SATA II 3.5″ SSD hard drive has great performance, the speed of read / write disks achieve 260 MB / s. You can compare it with the usual hard drive speed that only reach average speed of 30 MB / s. Besides 1TB, Colossus series also provides smaller capacities ranging from 128, 256, 512 GB.

    You realize at $3397, you can buy individual 128gb drives and RAID them on a dedicate controller would be better performance/cost.
