iUnika Netbook: 8 inch & Powered By Solar Cell

Netbook is even cheaper and cheaper. iUnika is a netbook with 8 inch screen size & made by Spanish companies. iUnika netbook use the Linux operating system sold with cheap price, about U.S. $ 180 & $ 220 for the type that uses solar panels. iUnika has just 700 grams weight. The iUnika netbook with solar cell type will charge the rechargeable battery by solar panels that placed on the front cover.

Something that makes iUnika netbook has bad point is the iUnika use flash memory-based hard drive with capacity only 64GB and 128 MB of RAM only. This means you can not expect much for running “heavy” applications such as graphic editor applications, but for just browsing, iUnika netbook is more than enough. IUnika has been sold in store starts in June 2009.
