AMOS-3001: Cheapest & Smallest Personal Computer (PC) In The World

VIA-AMOS-3001-Mini-PC

AMOS-3001 is a small PC with a mini size, it size only 150mm (W) x 45mm (H) x 108mm (D) with weight only 0.6 kg. Inside AMOS-3001 is equipped with the Pico-ITX board with a Via Eden / Nano processor. AMOS-3001 mini PC has no fan, so it is very quite. Although it has small size, AMOS-3001 able to play full HD movies well.

The specifications of AMOS-3001 :
- Processor VIA Eden ULV 1.0GHz or 1.2GHz VIA Nano ULV
- Memory 1 GB DDR2 RAM (maximum 2GB)
- 2.5-inch Notebook
- Ethernet Port, 4x USB 2.0 ports, VGA, RS-232C, Audio Jack, Mic
- Operating system Windows 7 / XP / Linux
- Electric power 13.35 watts (type AMOS-3001-1E10A1) or 19.1 watts (type AMOS-3001-1N12A1)

VIA-AMOS-3001-Portable-PC

Unfortunately, it has no port for keyboard or mouse, so inevitably we have to use a keyboard and mouse with USB connection which means it will reduce the USB port that can be used for any other hardware. According the source, beside it has very small size, the price will be quite cheap, so it becomes possible that every HDTV will be installed AMOS-3001 mini PC, so it can be functioned as computer. So far, there is no certain information about when it will be available in market and how much the price. Let’s wait and see.
