Fit PC2i Mini PC: Small PC With Low Energy Consumption
Are you looking for a small PC with low energy consumption? Anders Electronics has made a small & mini PC that called Fit PC2i mini PC, which compacts a netbook specification into a package not more large than a package of cigarets, and it only takes 6W to 8W of energy. Fit PC2i mini PC use Intel’s Atom Z5xx series chips as the processor with either 1GB or 2GB of memory, and also equipped with 2.5 inch hard drive, dual Ethernet ports, four USB ports, and a miniSD flash card reader.
A die-cast aluminium casing gives away that the Fit PC2i is aimed at industrial and networking applications, but the firm also has a less rugged Fit PC2 version available that can serve as a basic PC. Fit PC2i and Fit PC2i mini PC can have optional Wi-Fi, and are useable in diskless versions, or with Linux, Windows XP, or Windows 7. Fit-PC2i also includes a miniature RS-232 serial port and a DVI output.
Fit-PC2i mini PC has price about £245 + VAT for the diskless Fit PC2i Lite with 1.1GHz processor and 1GB RAM, up to £545 + VAT for the top-end model with 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, built-in Wi-Fi and Windows 7 Professional.
