Asus Zenbook: Super Slim Notebook With Super Hybrid Engine II Technology

Asus Zenbook is an ultrabook and when you look at its design, it is very thin because the thickness of the front of this product is only about 2.794 cm and the thickness of back side of this ultrabook is only about 8.89 cm and weight about 1.1 kg – 1.29 kg. Although it has a very slim thickness, it has a great performance and able to perform many tasks.

It uses Interl Core i5/i7 processor, 4 GB DDR3 RAM memory, 256 GB SSD and Windows 7 as operating system. Something that we like about Asus Zenbook is the feature called “Instant on 2-Second Resume”, where with the help of the Super Hybrid Engine II, this notebook is capable of re-active (resumes) in Standby mode with a time of only 2 seconds.

The question is how about the batteries? Relax, Asus claims that Zenbook able to standby for up to 2 weeks, almost same with mobile phone. Super Hybrid Engine II technology is also very useful, because it is able to back up your data automatically when the battery status under 5%, so it will avoid the data lost.

Another important thing is the battery life of Zenbook which is claimed that the battery can last up to 7 hours to play movies in HD format. Last but not least is the problem of heat that generated by a notebook, especially when it must be “hard work”. Don’t worry, because Zenbook uses better air flow system, so the heat that generated from this notebook is much reduced.

For those of you who like to hear musics, Zenbook is also very promising because it uses speakers from Bang & Olufsen. Asus Zenbook super slim notebook will be launched in two models namely UX21 (11.6 inch) and UX31 (13.3 inch) with price starting at $999 – $1499.
