The Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2013, which took place in San Francisco (United States) became an arena of electronic manufacturers to introduce their products. One of them is the Asus Transformer Book T100.

Asus Transformer Book T100 comes with a 10.1-inch screen that has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Asus uses Windows 8.1 as operating system on this new device. In addition, there is also a quad-core Intel Atom processor Bay Trail-T in it.

Furthermore, this Windows 8.1 device has a RAM with capacity of 2GB. Asus also pinned micro USB, micro HDMI and a USB 3.0 port on the keyboard dock that can be removed or installed. As with other series of Asus Transformer, this device can be used as a tablet or notebook.

Asus CEO – Johnny Shih said that this device is a transformation of the EeePC line which is priced fairly cheap. And, to get this device, consumers need to buy $349 USD (32GB) and $399 USD (64GB) and will come into the market on October 18.
